PSPA is now accepting applications for the Dr. Fred Winter Memorial Scholarships which are funded by the Winter family in honor of their husband and father and as an award for excellence in horticultural studies. Two Scholarships in the amount of $3,000 each will be awarded by the Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture for 2026-2027.
Last year’s winners were Payton Fulton from Delaware Valley University and Marian Hollenbeck from Rutgers University.

Applicants must meet the following standard:
- Be a junior or senior in college
- Be enrolled in Horticulture or related area
- Have good academic standing with a 3.0 GPA or better
