Biographical Sketch
Laurie Richards began her career as a correspondent for South Dakota Public Broadcasting. After hosting a television show, she moved to Des Moines to manage producer communications for the National Pork Producers Council and spent seven years performing public relations work in the agricultural industry. She is now President of Richards Associates.
Ms. Richards has worked with notable agricultural companies and associations including American Cyanamid, Hoechst-Roussel, Pfizer Animal Health, Pennsylvania Beef Council, National Association of Wheat Growers, National Potato Council, and National Cotton Council.
Ms. Richards’ published works include: How to Speak Without Fear, Making Meetings Produce, and Thinking Outside the Boundaries.
