New Farming Magazine, “Modern Farmer,” Makes Debut in United States

Modern Farmer, a slick new magazine for new-generation farmers and members of the food community made its debut in the United States in April. Based in Hudson, N.Y., it is the brainchild of Anne Marie Gardner, former editor of New York Times T Magazine. Gardner says she saw a void in the growing community of people who want the backstory about how food reaches the plate. The first issue includes a feature on vertical gardening, backyard farm design and an in-depth look at soil. Online content is refreshed daily and topics span food culture like growing the hottest pepper on the planet. Click here to take a look.
