Purpose: This annual award is designed to recognize outstanding students majoring in Horticulture with the clear intent upon graduation from their undergraduate university (or after attending graduate school) of pursuing a career in one the many branches of horticulture including landscape architecture and environmental sciences.
Amount of Award: The award will be in the amount of $2,300 and paid directly to the two selected individuals by June 1st 2024.
Eligibility: This award shall be presented to a full-time student in horticulture in their Junior or Senior year, in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or better. Students must be interested in employment in the horticulture industry or in furthering their education in horticulture.
Requirement: As part of the application process, a one-page essay must be submitted that focuses on how you envision impacting the industry through your employment or graduate work in horticulture.
