“Feeding Cities” Food Conference Announced; Held at University of Pennsylvania from March 13-15, 2013

The University of Pennsylvania is hosting one of the most important conferences of the coming year on one of the most important subjects facing mankind — how to feed the cities as they grow beyond the wildest dreams of many experts while rural populations continue to dwindle. Experts predict it will take a doubling of current world food production to feed the population in 2050. Yet experts tell us that seven out of every ten people will be living in crowded cities by then.

“Feeding Cities: Food Security in a Rapidly Rising World” brings together leading experts from around the world and across the nation to tackle these issues. The event takes place March 13th to 15th on the Penn campus. Find out more here: http://www.feedingcities.com/location/.
