September Luncheon Packed Full of Great Presentation and Wine Tastings

Jerry Hatfield gave one of finest reviews of climate change while also covering the research being done to respond to the situation in agriculture. With a topic so often fraught with misinformation and confusion, Jerry brought real clarity and focus, while sounding the alarm bells about future implications.

At our recent September meeting at the Union League of Philadelphia, our president Mark Myers continue a tradition and presented an engraved leather portfolio to our recent past president, John URBANCHUK. The beautiful leather portfolio is emblazoned with the logo of the Society and also inscribed with the name of the president and year of service. The portfolio will be a continuing reminder of our appreciation for the year of service given by John URBANCHUK as our president.

PSPA members had a great time with Anthony and Karen Vietri of Va La Vineyards at our September meeting. The wines they presented were outstanding and enjoyed by all.
