Mr. P. Richard Hart is a life long resident of Columbus, New Jersey where he and his wife, Faye, operate the Hart Agency which is affiliated with the Farm Family Insurance Company, a primary insurer of agricultural insurance risks. Mr. Hart attended Rutgers University from 1965 to 1967. His education was interrupted for several years while he served in the U.S. Army as a communication specialist. Later he entered Delaware Valley College where he secured his BS degree in Animal Husbandry in 1973. Subsequently he has been awarded the Chartered Life Underwriter title from American College and the Certified Insurance Counselor title by the Society of CIC. Mr. Hart has served as President of the Rotary Club of Bordentown, NJ and currently holds the appointed position of Assistant Governor of District 7500, Rotary International. He has served as President of Life Underwriters of Greater Trenton and is a member of the New Jersey Farm Bureau and the New Jersey Agricultural Society. Mr. Hart joined The Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture in 1990 and was elected President of the Society in May 2001.
