Stanley Straughter, the newest member of PSPA received his Certificate of Membership at a program that he organized in his role as Chair of the African and Caribbean Business Council of Greater Philadelphia on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the PA Farm Show. Immediate Past President Arland Hotchkiss presented the Certificate to Straughter as well as a history of PSPA to his guests.

Representatives fro Mali, Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, and Cote d’Ivorie as well as the PA Departments of Agriculture and Community and Economic Development, the US Smalll Business Administration, and the Philadelphia World Trade Center discussed resources o promote agriculture and exports to Africa. We would like to start a Farmer-to-Farmer program to Africa. PSPA could also assist in developing a plan for the exports of goods and services to African and Caribbean countries.
