As we move from our winter schedule (with primarily virtual lectures) and into spring with more field trips and in-person lectures, the Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture wants to be sure that those of you who have been a part of our online audience are invited to become members so that you can be a part of our full variety of programming.

  This spring, we have a series of programs on the regional horticulture industry in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society, the Quaker City Farmers, and Longwood Gardens that will include a trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show, a tour of Philadelphia horticultural installations, a trip to the Philadelphia Zoo, and a Field Day at Longwood Gardens.  Member only pricing will provide savings for PSPA members for individual events and/or the series of programs.

  Membership in PSPA is normally $260 which includes a $100 initial fee.  During the Membership Recruitment Initiative, PSPA will waive the $100 initiation fee, charge $160 for new memberships and carry new memberships until June 30, 2026.  To take advantage of this offer, you must register before March 31, 2025.  Membership requires a positive vote of the current members of PSPA which can take up to a month.  New members will be inducted into PSPA at the April 3, 2025 meeting of PSPA at the Union League.  Click here for more information and to register for membership.
