Julia Freedgood of the American Farmland Trust engaged our membership with a terrific presentation regarding the Trust’s latest efforts in identifying and mapping the most threatened Farmland in the United States. Ms. Freedgood emphasized that the loss of farmland continues at an unsustainable rate all across the country, but is especially troubling as sprawling urban areas encroach on some of our very best land.
