PSPA member Dr. Joshua McGrath provided information on this exciting and interesting development by a hero of his, Dr. Bill Raun, at Oklahoma State University. Josh says of Dr. Raun, “This has been his main project for maybe the last 10 years. It’s amazing to consider that as much corn is planted by hand in the world as is grown in the US with modern methods.” (Note: Dr. Raun has survived advanced brain cancer and a subsequent bicycling accident that almost resulted in his death. He continues his research.)
