At the April meeting, Dr. Tom Daniels, the nation’s foremost writer and authority on farmland preservation (and PSPA member!), led an extraordinary panel of preservation directors from the top four programs in the United States (according to the recent AFT analysis of programs nationwide). The participants highlighted  each state’s accomplishments, and some discussion of emerging topics and challenges in agricultural lands preservation. Each state also spoke to their “next generation” programs intended to support younger and beginning farmers.
