Longwood Gardens is a premier American botanical garden located on over 1,077 acres of gardens, woodlands, and meadows in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, in the Brandywine Creek Valley.  It has been a center for education and innovation in horticulture since its founding in 1921. This field trip is a “behind the scenes” tour of the facility, focusing on production, presentation, and education.  Jonathan Waple, Director of Operations and Events, will be our host for the tour, lunch, and questions and answers.
