Dr. David L. Kantner obtained a B.S. degree from Delaware Valley College, M.S. degree from the University of New Hampshire and D.Ed. degree from The Pennsylvania State University. He joined the Pennsylvania State University staff in 1966. Over a period of 33 years he served in a number of positions including Agricultural Extension Agent in Bucks County; County Extension Director in Schuylkill County; Regional Director of Cooperative Extension; Assistant Dean for Administrative Management and Training; and Coordinator of Special Projects, Office of Associate Vice President for Outreach. He served as a U.S.A.I.D. Project Advisor to the Polish Extension Service and is a member of a number of educational and agricultural professional societies. He currently is a consultant/recruiter for agribusiness and related industries. Dr. Kantner has been a member of The Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture since 1993. He was elected President of the Society in May 2000.
