PSPA member David Webster wrote to us recently about his involvement with a non-profit organization supporting six schools and orphanages in Ghana.
“Villanova University donated 120 beds and 163 mattresses to Classroom Donations International. We loaded the container recently and shipped it to West Africa.
The children will be happy to receive these beds. In addition to the beds, we also put into their container boxes of children’s books, pencils, pens, crayons, and even some soccer balls.
I want to thank Villanova University, the people who helped to load the container, and everyone that made a donation to CDI to help pay the cost of shipping.”

Classroom Donations International is a 501(c)3 charity aiming to equip every student for academic success, believing no child’s potential should be limited by resource scarcity. In the U.S., surplus school equipment often goes to waste, while it’s needed abroad. Classroom Donations International collects, refurbishes, and ships these resources worldwide, aspiring to a future where every child has the educational tools they need, ensuring equal opportunities and realizing every student’s potential.
