
Dr. Erik Ervin is the Associate Dean and Director of Cooperative Extension at the University of Delaware (Newark, DE). Before advancing his academic career into administration, he was a professor of plant physiology at Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, VA) and the University of Missouri (Columbia, MO).
At the University of Delaware, he recently lead a USDA-funded project: Sustainability Scholars Program – Increasing Underrepresented Student Success Through Experiential Learning. He is a Fellow in the American Society of Agronomy. Dr. Ervin will provide a current insight into cooperative extension and outreach opportunities for our students and future leaders in agriculture.
