Dr. Michael Boehm recently completed over a decade of service at the University of Nebraska (Lincoln, NE).  He served as the Harlan Vice Chancellor of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and as the Vice President for Agriculture and Natural Resources.  Dr. Boehm is a plant pathologist, and holds five U.S. and 30 international patents related to his work on the biocontrol of Fusarium head blight.

He also served as president of the American Phytopathological Society, the world’s leading scientific organization for plant pathology.  He is also a proud veteran.  Dr. Boehm will provide a current insight into higher education opportunities for our students and future leaders in agriculture.
