The 1st annual Philadelphia Grain and Malt Symposium, which is being held on Saturday, March 4th, 2017. The event supports our ongoing mission to establish new industry relationships with all members of the local food and beverage grain/malt value chain, and to contribute towards Mid-Atlantic grain/malt science and education.
Technical presentations will open the half day symposium, followed by an industry panel discussion. Then, attendees will be treated to a Local Food and Beverage Showcase, featuring local grain & malt delicacies prepared by local businesses. In addition, this year will highlight 6 experimental beers brewed at USciences, which evaluate the impact of barley variety on beer flavor.
