Thanks for PSPA Support of PA Friends of Agriculture Programs

Dear Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture,

I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support and dedication to our mission of connecting students across Pennsylvania to the wonders of agriculture.

Your gift has been instrumental in fostering agricultural literacy among our youth, and I am thrilled to share some exciting updates with you. Thanks to your contribution, we recently concluded a highly successful Ag Literacy Week, where a remarkable 1,900 classrooms were engaged through readings of the book “Anywhere Farm.”

The impact of Ag Literacy Week has been profound, as evidenced by the enthusiastic feedback we’ve received from teachers and volunteers. Witnessing the excitement of students as they observe their seeds sprouting from classroom activities has been truly rewarding. Your generosity has helped spark curiosity and cultivate a deeper appreciation for agriculture in the hearts and minds of countless young learners.

Moreover, our Ag Lab program is in full swing, with just a few more weeks remaining in the 2023-24 school year. I’m delighted to inform you that registrations for the 2024-25 academic year have already surpassed expectations, with 75 schools eagerly participating, filling more than half of the available spots.

Once again, thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to empowering the next generation of agricultural leaders. Your generosity continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students across our state, and we are deeply grateful for your partnership. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about how your gift is making a difference, please do not hesitate to contact me.

With gratitude,

Charlene
