Ken Kleinpeter, Vice President of operations at the Glynwwod Center in Cold Spring, NY will talk on what he is doing at the Glynwood Center and New Paltz NY to help young farmers get started. Glenwood Farm is a non-profit foundation managing a farm of about 225 acres to train young farmers in all aspects of farming to help them get started. He is also running a program with The Open Space Institute on 500 acres in New Paltz, NY as a farm incubator program.

In an effort to provide wide-ranging views and perspectives regarding the practice of and issues surrounding agriculture, the Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture (PSPA) seeks speakers representing a variety of perspectives.
