Prof. Lori Lynch Presented at February Meeting
The presentation at our February meeting by Prof. Lori Lynch struck a distinctly international tone. Dr. Lynch covered, with fascinating photographs, her recent sabbatical in Columbia studying sustainable villages. Her data and observations concerning building robust resiliency into agricultural systems were entirely new insights for most members. Dr. Lynch’s presentation is another great example of the variety that is built into the annual program for PSPA.
PSPA Collection at University of Pennsylvania Library
The Society was treated to a special display of our collection at the University of Pennsylvania library along with a presentation by Lynne Farrington on the high points and significance of the collection. Several members who had not previously visited the collection expressed their amazement at the very old documents relating to the founding of the Society. Our meetings at the University of Pennsylvania library are always a highlight of the year.
