The Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture will recognize its Gold Medal Dr. MeeCee Baker at our February 2018 meeting at the Union League. Dr. Baker is a leader in Pennsylvania Agriculture, was the first female president of the National Association of Agricultural Educators, a faculty member at the Pennsylvania State University, an author of textbooks for agricultural classes, a leader in Agricultural Education in the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, and an owner of a cow-calf operation.  Dr. Baker’s name is synonymous with agricultural and rural issues in Pennsylvania.
