DESCRIPTION:The Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture (PSPA) is de
 lighted to launch its 2025-2026 Program Year with “Philly Connects 2: Ag
 riculture and Environment Working Together”. Consistent with prior years
  of past agricultural presentations\, PSPA welcomes expressions of interes
 t from agricultural communities that support activities which focus on eco
 logy\, sustainability\, agroecology\, natural resource management\, urban 
 forestry\, urban growing\, agricultural education\, and other issues\, tre
 nds and ideas related to the greater Philadelphia region growing and green
 ing.\n\nIncreasingly\, the agriculture and environmental communities are r
 ealizing the commonality of their missions and coming together with polici
 es and projects that are mutually beneficial. No place is that more eviden
 t than in Philadelphia where soil and water issues are not only paramount 
 in the public space but also in the growing urban agriculture sector.  Th
 is program offers multiple opportunities for persons from soil\, water\, a
 nd agriculture to raise and highlight some of those issues.\n\nDate: Augus
